Community. "a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals". Such words have never been truer than when speaking about our Victoria Community. This year has been a year of incredible community relations and relationship building and we have made many new friends along the way. Some of the highlights were: We Get Involved! Aug 2020 - The Gift of Music Supporting Local Charity All of our left over soup is donated to Aids Vancouver Island, a local Victoria charity who also help our homeless population amongst fighting a series of other causes. 2020 - April 3rd. Even with our doors closed and our future uncertain, we have donated 80 meals to the Sidney Food Bank 2020 - April 28th, Soupa Cafe Donates 60 Meals to Aids Vancouver Island for their outreach teams. Aids Vancouver Island also heavily supports Soupa Cafe during the Covid Pandemic by buying weekly soups for outreach and their own staff. Soupa Cafe offers

The Gift of Music (UPDATE AND DRAW TERMS 12/10/2019) Are you ready to enter the draw for a FREE GUITAR? Would you and your family love a musical instrument yet don't have much this holiday season? As per the post below, Soupa Cafe and our awesome Victoria (and whistler) community have banded together to get 22 new and used instruments together which Soupa Cafe will wrap and gift away on Dec 24th. The Gift Of Music #theGiftOfMusic A few days ago, around Dec 5th we stumbled on a post we found on facebook from a local guy who quickly became our hero. Scott (we'll just leave it as his first name for now) had created a post and selflessly offered one of his guitars for free to any family who "need one to play but can't afford one". Touched by his post, we decided to offer Scott a gift card to our Cafe to thank him for his kindness during this festive time. Once we were in contact Scott confessed that not only was he overwhelmed by the response but that he would offer a second guitar also for free to a child in need. That got us thinking, "How beautiful is the gift of music for Christmas?!" So, we decided to get in to the Christmas Spirit with Scott and purchase 2 new beginner guitars to also offer them for free to children who need them.
